‘A majestic Victorian house, divided into four separate flats entirely renovated and extended to become a family home once more.’

This is an h3 subtitle

Planning was granted for this project in 2013 and works began soon after, to create a single family home at this extensive property. The house had been divided into four separate flats, each with its own electrics and heating systems. The garden had a self-build swimming pool which was filled using excavated rubble, rather than taking it off site.

The Lower Ground floor, provided a great opportunity to design a large family room with direct connection to the garden via a rear extension. A green roof is being installed above the extension, to make the views out from the kitchen on the floor above; beautiful.

The proportions of the Lower Ground floor are taking shape and the framed view out to the garden will be a key feature. The large sliding doors will open out onto a polished concrete terrace, with a surface that runs continuously from inside to out.

The proportions of the kitchen/dining room are amazing and we were keen to show off and accentuate the height of the rooms. In the photos, you can still see the original stair; it is being replaced with a bespoke timber stair that will complement the room.
