Utilities Provisioning
We manage your gas, electricity, water and data connections, disconnections and alterations, from first application to delivery on your programme.
The problem
Every utility has its own network operator, its own application process and its own portal. If you haven't done it before, it's confusing. Even if you have, it takes a lot of time in queues, on portals and on the phone.
Then there are the subcontractors who have to deliver the work, the designers who need it delivered to specification and the principal contractor who needs it on programme. Someone has to liaise with all of them.
For developers and owners whose time is worth more than that, we take it off your plate.
What we do
Connections, disconnections and alterations across electricity, gas, water and data, handled with your authority, from application through to delivery on site.
New connections, disconnections and alterations to existing electricity services. Where a new or converted building with multiple dwellings needs a building network operator (BNO) design, we support that too.
We prepare and submit the applications, track them through the network operator and coordinate the works, so your supply arrives when your programme needs it.
Connection and disconnection of gas services, and alterations to existing gas services.
We deal with the network and the service providers on your behalf, and coordinate the work with your programme.
Clean water connections and disconnections, including Section 45 applications, managed with the water company and coordinated with your programme.
Waste water is water out, and we cover connections for it as well as soakaways. These are handled through Section 106 applications, which we prepare and submit alongside your other utilities.
Fibre connectivity to buildings, including the repurposing of existing connections where a building is being converted or changed.
We deal with the providers and coordinate the installation with the rest of your utilities and your programme.
We liaise with your M&E designer to make sure each utility is delivered to specification.
We work with your principal contractor and subcontractors to fit the utilities into the programme.
How it works
You give us the scope and the authority to deal with the networks on your behalf. We take it from there, and keep the applications and the services joined up with your programme.
You hand over the scope and give us the authority to deal with the networks on your behalf.
We survey the site, prepare and submit each application, and track it through to approval.
We liaise with the networks, the service providers, your subcontractors and your M&E designer, and support subcontractor liaison on site.
We integrate the applications and services with your programme, so the utilities arrive when the build needs them.
Who it's for
Our utilities provisioning is led by a director with over 12 years' experience in the field, across residential and commercial projects, from single connections to large commercial-to-residential conversions. It's backed by deeper experience in electrical design within the team.
Where a new build or conversion needs several utilities connecting to programme, and you'd rather not manage each network yourself.
Where a building is changing and its services need altering, disconnecting or repurposing, without the time spent on portals and queues.
We can support the design process alongside the applications, and where it helps, wider project management of the utilities workstream.
Your project
Share a few details about your project and we'll come back to you with how we'd approach it and what it would involve.
No obligation.
We'll review your project and come back to you within one working day.
Once you're connected
Once your building has its supplies, the next question is what you're paying for them. We also help businesses secure the best available energy contract rate, and can advise on solar and battery storage to reduce what you buy.
